SUBJECT: Strike relief loans and program
In an effort to alleviate the effects of the strike for those members affected, Musicians’ Interguild Credit Union has put into place the following:
- For those who already are members of the credit union and who have loans with us, we will offer rolling payment extensions of up to three months.
- For existing credit union members as well as those who wish to join the credit union, we are offering signature loans of up to $5,000 per month with a rolling 2-3 month first payment deferral. Interest rate is the same as we offer on other signature loans.
In order to qualify for either program, the member (or prospective member) must indicate and demonstrate that work stoppage was strike related and show that he/she was working up to the time of the strike.
