As of May 31, we have elected to temporarily close the branch office on Forest Lawn Drive. The branch did not adequately serve our membership in that members were precluded from obtaining certain services that are currently available at our main office on Vine Street. Management and the Board of Directors felt that the merger of Musicians’ Credit Union and Interguild Federal Credit Union was done to offer expanded services to all members of the credit union. Clearly the branch situation did not support this vision.

Rest assured that management and the Board are actively searching for a more suitable branch location with which to fully serve the needs of all our members. The branch, when completed, will offer full credit union services (including cash handling) to all of our members. The branch will be located in the same general vicinity as the just closed office (Burbank-North Hollywood-Studio City-Toluca Lake).

Musicians’ Interguild Credit Union apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the branch. Full services are available, as always, at the Vine Street office. We look forward to notifying you when we have more information on the opening of the new branch office.
